"There is a vitality, a life force, a quickening that is translated through you into action and because there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique."
Martha Graham to Agnes DeMille
I have been a clay artist since 1995. My rural life in both South Carolina and Montana has inspired marks and carvings on my forms.
Reflections on newly plowed fields, round bales of hay, and the ripples and movement in streams are revealed on the rims, and sides of each one of a kind, stoneware piece. The texture from carving is a wonderful feeling against your hands. This pottery is intended to be used, handled, and enjoyed.
