Since moving to Montana, we purchased a cabin that needs to be moved to our property for my new studio. Building a foundation and adding power and water lines, has been a time consuming process. With most of the studio in storage, I became frustrated about not being able to work with clay.
Soooooo, I set up a card table in the guest room, ordered some nylon fiber clay ( from New Mexico Clay) and began hand building wildlife found in our area. My favorite so far, is an elk.
When it comes time to fire, I got out my L&L doll baby kiln that fires off of 20 amp, 120 volts. Just goes to show, you can work most anywhere.
