I just completed a chalk painting class and painted some cabinets. The wax finishes make them very smooth ( almost like glaze). Just a thought.... wonder how this paint would do on sculptural work?? It can be used outside and adheres to any surface....concrete, metal, wood, etc.
That might be the next step. You can purchase small jars of the paints on line ( http://shop.robynstorydesigns.com/chalk-paint-sample-pots/ ) The next class that I plan to take is how to make wood look like industrial metal. See if you can find a class near you!
