Here is a recipe for Lana Wilson's Underglaze....
Lana uses 100 grams of bone dry clay that the work is made from.
She then adds Mason ( or other) stains in the following percentages.,,,
Black #6600 @ 10%
Tangerine #6027 @ 15%
Chartreuse # 6236 @ 50%
Her red is US Pigment red #50779 @ 18%
Some potters add the pigments by 1/4 tsp. or 1/2 tsp which avoids weighing. Be sure to write down your method so you can duplicate.
Slowly add water. Allow the mixture too dissolve for about an hour before stirring and using.
