A group of 12 potters came together at the Utilitarian Clay Symposium in 2012. They formed a group called Objective Clay to provide connection and support for one another. They were featured in the February issue of Ceramics Monthly and are now teaching workshops throughout the US. This years line up will be in Florida, Oregon, Montana, and New Jersey.
I plan to sign up for the class at The Archie Bray in Helena, Montana.
This workshop will feature 8 of its members with two demonstrations each day in a symposium setting. There will be discussions about style, marketing, social media, and support. ( May 20 -21) Cost $300
