I have been spraying glazes this week. Recently, I started using the inexpensive spray guns from Harbor Freight ( picture to right) They are on sale right now for $14.99 . From time to time they go on sale for $9.99.
Check their flyer for 20% off....
http://www.harborfreight.com/20-oz-high-volume-low-pressure-gravity-feed-spray-gun-47016.htmlThe friction in the glaze destroys the gun and I discard them. I also do not use the spray cup that comes with them. I use Dekups from www.tcpgobal.com
to purchase plastic liners ( they are
much like baby bottle liners)
Before spraying, the cup is on the
table top and the spray gun deairs
the container. Then, invert and
spray. You will also need the adapter
pictured on the right ( T-11). It fits
in the top of the dekups and screws
onto the spray gun.
All spray guns need an adapter to hook up to your compressor hose.
I spray at 40 psi. Best of luck!
