Keeping records up to date is not my strength . If you are planning to do shows or display work in galleries, it is very important to keep accurate records of your inventory. It will save you time and money in the long run.
As you unload a fired kiln, take a snapshot of each piece with your phone, and price the piece. I keep my pricing tags near the kiln.
Then put your work, wrapped with bubble wrap into an appropriate bin. I have separate bins for mugs, trays, casseroles, ewers, etc. It will save you time when restocking at a show, or taking new work to a gallery.
