Unloaded a kiln on Tuesday.....check out these new wall tiles. I saw some wooden tiles in a hotel at Big Sky this winter. The idea of a grouping intrigued me. I tried some different shapes, impressions, and tied everything together with a black underglaze sponged on, and a blue ash glaze sprayed on. Red, yellow, and turquoise underglaze was covered with clear glaze and wax resist. They were fired to cone 10 reducction.  |
